Cirque Du Soleil comes to life at Wolstein Center

Cirque Du Soleil’s latest touring show, “Ovo,” is a performance that could be mistaken for an artistic stage adaption of the Pixar film “A Bug’s Life.”

A spider dances elegantly, surrounded by an intricate web. Vibrant red ants juggle kiwi slices with their feet. Fleas soar into the air, and crickets climb up a vertical wall.

If anything can be expected from the amazing acrobats, it’s plenty of theatrical, gravity-defying moments onstage.

And if that scene from “Knocked Up” (you know, the one where Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd do shrooms in Las Vegas) proves anything, it’s that their upcoming performance in Cleveland will be pretty trippy.

The travelling performance will be stopping by Cleveland’s Wolstein Center for five days only, from April 27 – May 1. Tickets start at $37. Check back for coverage of the event later this week.
