Join us for our opening night party. This free event is a perfect excuse to just get together and hang out! If you’ve never been to a PechaKucha event, here’s how it goes down: 10 – 12 speakers give mini-talks about their craft. This particular event is focused solely on Cleveland music and we’ve got some great people from the community that will be sharing their stories and insights with us.

Day 2 – Wednesday, August 5 – Anatomy of a Song featuring: Tom Evanchuck, Megan Zurkey, Steph Trivison, John Kalman and Josh Voland
Where: Brother’s Lounge
Anatomy of a Song is a program we do where we take musicians and singers from various genres who don’t normally do songwriter-in-the-round type formats and have them do just that! Five musicians on stage together, talking about and playing their songs.
Day 3 – Thursday, August 6 – The Beat Uptown featuring Midnight Passenger and Cities & Coasts
Where: Museum of Contemporary Art
Part of Uptown and MOCA’s free summer series, join these two great bands outside on the plaza in uptown for a great night of music.
Day 4 – Friday, August 7 – Seafair and the Querencia Orchestra, The Modern Electric, The Moxies and Ottawa
Where: House of Blues
This is the big one. 4 heavy hitter locals on stage at the House of Blues. Seafair will be closing things out when they perform with backing from a 40 piece orchestra that they put together and wrote all the charts for! Every single one of these bands is headliner worthy so you don’t want to miss this one.
Day 5 – Saturday, August 8 – Back home at the Beachland with Obnox, Nights, Teddy Boys, The Commonwealth, So Long Albatross, Jivviden, By Light We Loom, Ageless Males and Sammy Slims
Where: Beachland Ballroom
Back to the Beachland for a jam packed bill of bands playing in both rooms. Teddy Boys and Jivviden added to the lineup!
Day 6 – Sunday, August 9 – Hip Hop at the Grog Shop with Smoke Noises, Archie Green, Common Ave and Laroi Da Moor and the Fannon
Where: Grog Shop
